Athletic Scouting and Recruiting Adviser Specialists

Paramount Scouting Bureau offers several services for parents and athletes, in all sports, to give them a competitive advantage in the college or professional recruiting process. Using a personal approach, PSB has assisted over 2,400 student-athletes placing them into junior colleges, junior hockey, and all divisions of the NAIA and NCAA, and baseball players to all levels of independent, affiliate and international professional baseball. We also assist colleges, in all sports, and professional baseball organizations in their search to find athletes who meet their specific needs.

PSB gives each prospect and their parents personal attention and support in every step of the recruiting process.  We are the experts.  We don't show you what to do and let you become the recruiter; we do all of the marketing work for you.  Through regular contacts and one-on-one consulting, PSB gets to know each client to assure that our marketing and advising will lead to offers from college programs that match the prospects academic interests, athletic skill level, and personality.  PSB is always a phone call, email or text away and ready to assist you.

PSB Virtual Showcases

Get the benefits of attending a showcase without leaving your home.  A Paramount Scouting Bureau virtual showcase is your opportunity to be seen by college coaches and learn how you can improve your chances for success.  For 25 years, Ron Vrana has been evaluating athletes and providing scouting reports to colleges, and he will provide you an unbiased evaluation of your sport-specific skills.

You may perform at one or several positions, and then following a phone consultation, Vrana will give you a written evaluation of your skills that your parents and you can use when contacting college coaches or when looking for a baseline to improve your skills.  Vrana can also assist you in marketing your talents to college coaches.

PSB has been the scouting eyes for hundreds of college coaches and can put your evaluation in front of college coaches across the country.  When coaches know they can get an accurate scouting report on an athlete from PSB, they do not need to see you in person.  Colleges at all levels use our trusted and respected evaluations as part of their recruiting efforts.  That is the true purpose of a scouting organization, and no one does it better that PSB.

To receive a professional evaluation from Ron, send a video to or call him at 412-298-6850.  The video should include several plays from:

  • Game footage
  • Skills footage
  • Any other views you would like me to see (i.e., training videos)
Ron will get back to you within 48 hours to discuss costs and set up a phone call to discuss his analysis of your skills.
